The sequel that never was.

Filmed in Austin, Tx. 1983, a different independent production crew attempted a sequel.

Slasher Face 2 featured a backstage punk rock show massacre. During production a lead actor playing one of the band groupies committed suicide by jumping face first off of one of the historic moon towers, while the camera was rolling. Her suicide note claimed she was tired of being haunted by the sound of grinding teeth that she felt following her when she was alone.

Many cast and crew members dropped out of the project after the tragedy but the director insisted to carry on as it would be in her honor that they complete the film. But unlike its predecessor, the attempted sequel did not get an opportunity to be premiered. Post production was said to be shut down by federal agents and the footage was confiscated for evidence before it could be released.

But the rumor streaming throughout Texas is that the cast and crew carried on in making the film after the death of the actor and released it illegally on VHS.

What’s protested is that the suicide was caught on tape and left in the film.
